Lynde House offers a beautiful location to celebrate special occasions, and an out-of-the-ordinary meeting space for social or business events. Private Teas include a guided tour of the Museum, followed with refreshments served by volunteers in Victorian dress, using our extensive collection of vintage china. 

We can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests around the formal Dining Room table. Six additional guests can be seated in the Kitchen, which is located across the hall. Larger groups can be hosted outside by the Heritage Garden from May – September, weather permitting.

Private Teas require a minimum of 3 weeks advance booking. Please notify us of any allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of booking, and we will do our best to accommodate requests.
